Harvey1
I noticed that when I try to watch a movie in PeacockTV (online) that it cannot play the movie unless I use Chrome or Firefox. It doesn't seem that CCleaner browser works. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing the problem? As a test I had Firefox, Chrome, and CCleaner browser all installed from scratch. Only CCleaner browser would not play a movie an online movie in PeacockTV. I tried to click off the default options (anti-fingering, adblock, anti-tracking, and extension guard one by one, but turning off all of these (even as a group) did not allow the movie to be watched. Thanks for any suggestions.

Moderators nukecad Posted October 24, 2020 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2020 I don't have CCleaner browser and don't know peacock, so: Can you make the cookies etc. for peacock an exception in the browser settings? Of course you could always just use Firefox or Chrome to watch it. I suggest try adding the "Malwarebytes Browser Guard" extension to either Firefox or Chrome (it's free) - if that blocks peacock then you will know there is some reason it's being blocked by CCleaner Browser. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Moderators hazelnut Posted October 24, 2020 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2020 Peacock is legit. I doubt if CCleaner browser is blocking it, it just doesn't have the ability to play it for some reason. https://www.cnet.com/news/peacock-tv-app-roku-premium-free-streaming-movies/ Also see here https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/58120-cant-stream-tv-programs/ Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
