Windows Defender scan history

using the new option "Windows Defender cleaning" causes cleaning od the last scan information

in Windows Defender history, so it seems i have never performed a scan.

This situation starts an attention item on the task bar, promting the user to perform a new

Windows Defender scan.

At moment, the only possibility to handle this problem is to uncheck Windows Defender cleaning.

Hello pippocavalieri,

 

I also have defender, and have it ticked in ccleaner applications, but do not get the icon with the blue question mark in the taskbar prompting me to do a new scan after ccleaner cleaning.

Do you have this ticked in defender - tools/options..

 

"notify if changes are made to your computer by software that is allowed to run..?"

 

I don't, could this be why? I also notice that things that I get asked to allow, get cleaned as well!! Annoying.
