Feature Request - regarding "Cookies to Keep"

Greetings:

I know that this is the wrong time for a feature request
[i.e. just days before a production release]
; but I just now, found CCLEANER.

In regards to: "OPTIONS > COOKIES > Cookies to Keep" List; I would like the ability to select cookies for an entire domain.

[My worry is about accidently missing some, as websites continue to create new ones]

For example; Last year, I only needed to keep 2 cookies for GOOGLE.COM

  • One for Google Search preferences.
  • One for Google Toolbar preferences.

Now I have:

google.com

google.com/accounts

google.com/finance

google.com/ig

google.com/intl

google.com/mars

google.com/notebook

groups.google.com

pages.google.com

toolbar.google.com

video.google.com

www.google.com/accounts

www.google.com/ig

P.S. I realize that this is rather trivial; but not with-out some merit.

We actually don't know if all sub-domain cookies are kept if you only list the domain name. I have asked this question a long time ago, but no-one knew the answer.

I shall do some testing some time...

B.t.w. - not trivial at all, I have lots of cookies I want to keep; it would be much easier to have only the domain name.

Not quite the same thing but a similar concept ... CleanCache allows you to keep cookies for you Favorites. Enabling that feature automatically adds all such cookies to the "Cookies to keep" list during the cleaning process.

Being able to name specific domains (without necessarily adding them to Favorites) would be even better.
