g'day Sylvain and welcome to the Forums.

many users are experiencing similar issues, most due to conflicts with Kaspersky and/or MalwareBytes.
updating those programs to their latest versions seems to be helping some.

if this issue only started occurring with v5.43 of CC, I recommend going back to an earlier version until it is sorted.
earlier editions available at FileHippo.

good news.

yeah, I've left mine at v5.40 until I feel confident with any of the newer versions and features.

Same prob. Both my Malwarebytes & Kaspersky are up to date.  I woulda thought Piriform would try to fix this, or at least address the issue.

Once Kaspersky is updated to 19(g) (I believe that's the build), most users found that uninstalling and reinstalling ccleaner fixed the issue.  Piriform is aware of the issues with both those antiviruses and, I believe, are working with those vendors on a fix.  For now, it's suggested that you roll back to 5.40 if the reinstall doesn't work.
