Moderators Nergal Posted May 21, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 21, 2018 Maybe outpost et al left behind registry entries, but still odd that they show. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators mta Posted May 24, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 24, 2018 similarly to how CC still shows entries for removed programs (due to the trigger for those programs still existing), maybe Speccy is doing the same. so you could either reinstall those program just to uninstall them again and see if that process does a 'more complete' job the second time. or see if those programs offer a removal tool that digs deeper. or, something like Revo, where you can do a trace search for a program and remove all residual locations, even in the Registry. (but that may only be in the paid-for version) Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
