Mechanickrick
Does anyone know if CCleaner can fix the suggested registry issue associated with error code 0xc0000017 when updating windows 10. When I search the internet I have been told to download [removed by moderation]. I would prefer to continue using CCleaner. But after running it, I ran the windows10 update again and continue to get the same error code. Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated. Moderators Andavari Posted January 18, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 18, 2018 Registry cleaners more than likely will not fix Windows error codes, in fact using a registry cleaner on a Windows 10 system can damage it especially if it's an aggressive registry cleaner. You could contact your PC manufacturer for support and perhaps they can fix it remotely, if they however can't instead of trying to chase down some error code you could restore/reinstall Windows. Moderators mta Posted January 18, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 18, 2018 registry cleaners remove entries, not repair them, that would involve some black voodoo magic and very risky second guessing. Hav0c
Just a question @Mechanickrick How do you know it's a registry issue ? When I looked into this error I get only "There isn't enough memory available to create a ramdisk device" posts..... Every line of code written by man can be undone by man . Moderators hazelnut Posted January 19, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 19, 2018 Guess it was just a post to spam the software link (now removed) Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
Moderators Andavari Posted January 19, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 19, 2018 It wasn't an active URL link, it was just the name of the registry cleaner the user was using. I proactively removed it in case it was spam.
