peterouviere
So a few days ago my CCleaner Professional stopped working. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restore points. Nothing. I get this message: ** "CCleaner has Stopped Working" A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify of you if a solution is available** I tried running the Debugging as talked about in a different thread and the same thing happens before the program is finished cleaning. I would love to find out how to fix this. I have also run Norton Virus scan and SuperAntiSpyware Malware scan. Thanks in advance for any help you can give to me. Moderators mta Posted November 8, 2016 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2016 Try running it with the PC in Safe Mode and see if that helps. If so, it might highlight an avenue to chase down. Also don't forget you can get priority support directly from Piriform since you have the Pro version. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. Moderators Nergal Posted November 8, 2016 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2016 The debugging should have produced a log, please attach it to this thread ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
