Gregsoso
When I enter search to start duplicate finder I get the message "File search has completed". What is going wrong? Why can I not get it the start searching for duplicated files? AND is there any Tech agents to help if you need troubleshooting a telephone #? Tasgandy
Some questions first Gregsoso: What SW application are you using? and on what version of Windows? Also have you tried un-installing and re-installing the SW app? ( a good place to start) Always With Kind RegardsTasgandy"one is never too old to listen & learn"

Also have you tried un-installing and re-installing the SW app? ( a good place to start) Not sure what you mean by what SW, the poster is asking about ccleaner's duplication finder. I'd help but have never even looked at the tool, it's a quite powerful/dangerous-if-done-without-forethought thing to use ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Tasgandy
OOPS!!! My mistake I thought Gregsoso was referring to a "Duplicate file finder" SW (software) app and not ccleaner duplicate file finder...............teach me to "read more carefully" next time................I've not used it either.
