danielk
Hello, i want to report that the shellextension from xnView stays in the rightclick contextmenu of a folder ("view with xnview"). The guys doesnt cleanup the shellextension if it was enabled. Just a suggestion to add to ccleaner.
Moderators Nergal Posted July 10, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 10, 2015 What is xnView, what program does it belong to? Do you still run that program? Is it a system program? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators Andavari Posted July 10, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) 1. Start CCleaner. 2. Click Tools > Startup > Context Menu If CCleaner doesn't display it or can't remove it you may need to try NirSoft ShellExView or ShellMenuView.
