pattischu
Anyone have this problem? Each and every time I open Ccleaner, the computer reboots. Can't get it to open. Have removed the program and then re-installed. Any other suggestions?

Moderators Andavari Posted May 12, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 12, 2015 (edited) Each and every time I open Ccleaner, the computer reboots. See post #2. Give info if you want valid help. Also sending the same thing to me in a PM is against forum rule 15, help is to only be given in the open forum where everyone can benefit. Moderators Nergal Posted May 12, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 12, 2015 Whether or not it is the machines, both posters MUST provide the information that @Andavari requested. I'm wondering, perhaps, are you running ccleaner on windows XP with only Service Pack 2 and not SP3. But without knowing from both of you there's no way to provide aid, and, more importantly, there's no way to know if you both are experiencing the same "bug" (or a bug at all) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
