KNRover
My AV is Avast. I recently ran CCleaner's registry cleaner and it identified 4 items to delete. Clicked "Fix selected issues", they disappear from the list, but when I run it again, they're still there. I've attached a screen dump showing what they are (3 are "ActiveX/COM" and one is an "Invalid file reference". Tried going into the registry and manually deleting them, but access is denied. My guess is that these registry entries are valid and required by Avast. . . but why is CCleaner identifying them as invalid AND will not delete them? Moderators Andavari Posted November 22, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 22, 2014 You already have a topic about this problem located here: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=42290 Again, stop uploading .doc format for pictures - only upload; GIF, JPEG/JPG, PNG Topic closed, the discussion can continue in your first topic about this. And I did post an answer in your first topic, the reason why you can't delete those Avast keys.
