login123
Click on start, then navigate to - all programs - accessories - system tools - disk defragmenter. Right click on disk defragmenter, select create shortcut. Now you can drag the new shortcut to the desktop. Just my curiosity, how did you start defragmenter before? The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-) Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers. Moderators Andavari Posted November 18, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 18, 2014 If that shortcut that login123 mentions in the above post is also gone, here's how to re-create it from scratch: 1. Click Start->Run and paste in: %allusersprofile%\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\System Tools Then click OK, so that it opens the folder where the shortcut is supposed to reside in by default. 2. Create a New Shortcut with the Target field ("location of the file"): %SystemRoot%\System32\dfrg.msc 3. Name the shortcut: Disk Defragmenter
login123
Nice, Andavari. As Tasgandy says, you're never too old to learn. I didn't know how to do that, now i do. Saved it to a txt file. (No chance I'll remember it tomorrow ) Thanks. The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-) Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud.
