CCleaner - professional edition

{Bad Translation added by nergal}

just run CCleaner on my pc. just before it was finished ready to delete from my pc, I stopped it to see what it was going to remove too well .. It was much more than I was going to delete. So now I wonder just how I'll start it all over again? Starting from the beginning, so my pc was ??

NORSK

ENGLISH

(It might help if you ask in english rather than Norwegian. The following may not translate well.)

which part of ccleaner did you use? regular cleaning? "registry" cleaning? disc wiping?

If regular cleaning, what item have you checked off? Did you click the button labeled for "analysis" or for "clean"?

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

I'm curious if CCleaner has a Localization dept. translating Help files in different languages. I have the free version but haven't noticed choices for different languages within the Online Help link. (Maybe just the pro version has that? :blink:  )

I don't see how that's related?

Sorry I should have included an O/T warning in my last comment. It is off topic, but not unrelated. Yesterday there was a concerned post in French, and now one in a Nordic language. I was just curious about localization since CCleaner is used pretty much world-wide.

Please don't go offtopic, especially in unsolved issues
