grits2
Installed Defraggler yesterday, 1st time ever using it. Did the analyze, then clicked defrag button. I believe it said it would take a day to complete!! It was time to fix supper anyway so went ahead with it. I have no idea how long it did take (have used something in past that showed how long) but was done when I came to 'puter this morning. I'm not sure it did much of anything? Did it give up too soon? Did I not set something right? I didn't see anything else to do other than analyse & defrag. Will try to attach a couple screen shots so you can see what I'm talking about. Thank you. Moderators Nergal Posted February 28, 2013 Moderators Share Posted February 28, 2013 Answer here: http://forum.pirifor...showtopic=35458 after doing those things: you may get a few more (1-5%) defragmentaion by going into safemode and defragging or by running a defrag on some of the individual files and may get even a bit more by running Boottime defrag but for the most part you're not going to notice much (if any) system difference ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
