Yes, lots of utility software has an "Open Containing Folder" type of feature which would be useful for maybe a few reasons.

 

Some programs deposit parts of themselves in what could be looked upon as unusual places, like a hidden folder in the root directory I had recently, or installing themselves somewhere in "Documents and Settings" instead of "Program Files".

 

I've had some strange ones, so +1 from me for that little feature.
