nodles
You could always try the portable or slim versions which don't have Chrome bundled. And if you use the full version you can uncheck these:
Moderators Nergal Posted May 3, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 3, 2012 I'm sorry that you feel that developers should not bundle software, in order to recoup some small amount of the $=time spent on making a wonderful free program. That said, it isn't like the developers have not provided you with MULTIPLE outs as outlined by @nodles ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators DennisD Posted May 3, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 3, 2012 I haven't used the CCleaner installer for some time, but it sounds like the delay in the installation process which happens just before the "extras" options are displayed, is still there. If that's the case, it's too easy for the unwary to click past the "opt out" page.
eL_PuSHeR
Just untick the appropiate tickboxes as suggested.
