For example: I get cookies from sites like this: edge.sharethis.com und addfreestats.com and want them not to be able to do it. Is it possible? Moderators Nergal Posted January 7, 2012 Moderators Share Posted January 7, 2012 yes there are a couple of ways, & it's often best to use a layered approach if you use internet explorer try http://winhelp2002.m.../restricted.htm if you use Firefox or Chrome (or Opera?) there are plugins/extensions that'll do the job (better?) Also take a look at blocking such domains via hosts file. Doing this way will block no matter which browser is used http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm however some sites may not function properly(very few, I & many members here use the file happily 99.9999% of the time) also do you mind if I move this to the general software section as it really doesn't pertain to ccleaner ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
