Clearing Recycle Bin

Why dose Defraggler keep asking me to clear the recycle Bin when there is nothing in it when I want to defrag a drive such as a jump drive? ANNOYING!!! :(

Try moving all your files from your flash drive to a folder on your computer.

Then, right click your flash drive & choose format.

Then, copy your files back to the flash drive.

I think this will fix the problem, although I would not defrag it at this stage, since this will work just as well as a defrag with far fewer write cycles being depleted.

* Also, please update to CCleaner 3.11, instead of 3.10 if you haven't.

Why are you defragging a jump (flash) drive?

Any drive will lose life the more you defrag it.

Some argue the point that flash drives are even more so prone to it. But some say SSD last much longer than HDD, even with defragging, so it doesn't matter.

At any rate, the second argument is that because all areas are equi-access, there is no need to defrag.

Perhaps he is, just because he can. I do not know. Or because he is experimenting. Would be interesting to know, though!
