norel Posted July 31, 2011 Share Posted July 31, 2011 My web accelerator on the system tray keeps inheriting icons from other programs. In my picture it shows an open menu with a red rectangle around the item that keeps getting the rogue icons. Right now there's nothing there because when I clear the tray notification cache with CCleaner it goes away. The first time it inherited an icon from my Avast antivirus. After that it had icons I've never seen before. A scan of the web accelerator software doesn't reveal any viruses. It only started doing it recently and I can't think of anything I've done that would have cause it. The web accelerator is Netstream, and version of Slipstream that my ISP uses. I have Vista SP2.
