Super Fast
The includes in CCleaner is still broken for Vista + 7. Works great in XP though... Includes drag & drop -> Works in XP, doesn't do anything at all in Vista + 7 Includes browse to -> Works in XP, doesn't work properly in Vista + 7 * By properly, I mean that if you navigate to a shortcut in XP, it is added as a shortcut.LNK -> Vista + 7, it adds the file itself, instead of the shortcut. Is there a chance this can be fixed? I hate a "broken" CCleaner, LOL! Thanks! -> Version 3.07 -> Tested in XP/Vista/7 -> Clean install versions of CCleaner & Windows
Moderators Nergal Posted June 6, 2011 Moderators Share Posted June 6, 2011 I though that we've already given you the way to fix this. With Manual edit. It has more to do with the way Windows later versions use lnk files ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
