Alan_B
I am one of 957 people seeking help or bitching like crazy because we are trapped in a disaster recovery that is now being practised after the disaster. See http://blog.lastpass.com/2011/05/lastpass-security-notification.html There are no doubt many thousands that are also suffering. To protect users LastPass required that we change master password. Some users were lucky and their changes were accepted. Some were using a different IP address to the last time and had to use further instructions that were emailed to them. That was not thought out in advance. My email came to me via my Gmail account which I could not access because LastPass logs in for me ! ! ! Fortunately that password I also have in Keep Pass, but unfortunately only LastPass knew the URL I needed to use in order to submit the password. That took most of the day - mostly the Google search results took me to Google Apps instead of Gmail I now have email, and I have got a Piriform password reminder. For the rest of my passwords I guess I will wait for overloaded Lastpass servers to work through a massive surge of password changes. I do not fancy asking 178 other site administrators for password reminders.
