SMalik
The option to wipe free space should be removed from Windows>Advanced. It is available under Drive Wiper. Most users of CCleaner don't use this option every time. It is very confusing for the users who don't know much about the computers and they check this option also then complain that CCleaner takes so long to remove the internet junk. It happened to someone I know.

Users with little knowledge should really keep their itchy fingers out of the Advanced Options ! ! Alan
Moderators Nergal Posted February 17, 2011 Moderators Share Posted February 17, 2011 This has been suggested before (by many including myself) for now, however, that will stay the way it is. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Guest
Also there's a dialogue box that notifies the user that checking "Wipe Free Space" will significantly increase the clean time.
