vbgirl1420
I was under the impression that CCleaner was supposed to clean out Java cache. On Windows 7, they are located at C:\users\username\appdata\locallow\sun\java\deployment\cache\6.0. I have tried several times but the cache is never cleared. The same issue was brought up last year, but a fix has not been created. http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=24572 Windows 7 Home Premium Firefox 3.6.3 Java 1.6.0_20 CCleaner 2.32.1165

I have created a Winapp2.ini fix (see my signature for information on winapp2.ini). The problem here is that Sun stores the cache in a different place on windows 7 (and probably vista, but I'll need a vista tester for confirmation) Inside of your winapp2.ini please place this code [*Sun Java for Vista & 7] ID=2094 LangSecRef=3022 DetectFile=%locallowappdata%\Sun\Java Default=True FileKey1=%locallowappdata%\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%locallowappdata%\Sun\Java\Deployment\javaws\cache|*.*|RECURSE ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
