ishan_rulz
All you need to know is the first letter of the software. The search feature would be pretty useless. Just press the letter, and it will navigate to the softwares starting with that letter Simplicity is hard.

Moderators Andavari Posted July 5, 2009 Moderators Share Posted July 5, 2009 I didn't knew that one. Thanks. Ditto, I never knew such a feature was available either. Seems we now need a CCleaner black book of hidden goodies.

Most programs are identified by company and the software name. Searching your way requires to memorize not only software names but companies names. I think a search box is really required. Alan_B
iTrenAr If you do not even know the first letter of the name, how would search assist you ? RipIxi That makes no sense to me. Use of the first letter of the program name in no way requires ADDITIONAL knowledge of a company's name. I will accept that the ability to search for the company name (totally disregarding program name) could be useful for some-one who only knows the creator of the software. How about a optional search for a download site. Would you also like a search on date installed, date last used, etc. Were extra search options added, CCleaner would be competing head-on with Control Panel Add/Remove, and would take far more time to do so. ident
I think the uninstaller of cceaner really lets the whole thing down. I love ccleaner and would suggest any one to use it. Yes it does load 100times faster then m$ built in add/remove but it doesnt scan for left over entrys. No fate but what we make
