login123
Just read an email describing a class action lawsuit settlement by Symantec/Norton. Its true as far as I can tell. Seems that some norton purchasers in the USA are entitled to a $15.00 coupon or a huge $2.50 cash settlement. Links on Symantec site: http://www.symantec.com/about/profile/policies/legal.jsp has a link to the "Heverly-Norton Case ": http://www.heverly-nortoncase.com/ Hope this is OK to post. If not, sincere apologies, and just zap it right out of the aether. The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-) Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers.
Moderators DennisD Posted April 28, 2009 Moderators Share Posted April 28, 2009 Thieving Toads. If it was only 2p I'd have it back off them on principal.
Moderators Andavari Posted April 29, 2009 Moderators Share Posted April 29, 2009 Nothing new really so many companies probably have price issues and if they were eyeballed close enough they could have their day in court too. The whole subscription thing stinks anyways, maybe people will learn to support companies like Alwil (Avast), Avira (AntiVir), Grisoft (AVG), etc., that at least offer full featured freeware products.
