slowday444 Posted March 19, 2009 Share Posted March 19, 2009 So for the heck of it I upgraded to 8 even though I never use IE. On both the desktop and Vista notebook it only took about five to ten minutes to download and install. Now the annoyance! On the Vista laptop, every time CC is run it throws up a "Cleaning Browsing History" textbox, even when you haven't visited IE. I pocked around the security and tool settings in IE8, including internet options but I can't get rid of that annoying box. Nothing like this is showing up with XP. Any help please? Thank You! I really don't even have to use CCleaner since I browse sandboxed most of the time (you just delete the sandbox). By the way, this is some crazy IE setting that shows IE temps are being deleted and in no way is it CC fault. I'll capture a screeny of it later. I don't even have the notebook booted at the moment. The History pop up flashes so quickly that if I blink I miss it. Un-check it if you don't want the History cleaned. Re: Yo Yo Ma!
