pzen
Recuva was able to recover photos (JPEG) and Video files (.AVI) from my camera card. The .JPEG photos were perfect, but I can't play the .AVI video files. My windows Media Player returns an error message about unsupported format ( error code C00D1199). Is there a CODEC that I need to install in media player, or some other file compression issues that I need to resolve before being able to play the video files, or am I just S.O.L.? Moderators Andavari Posted March 2, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 2, 2009 Maybe, I don't know for sure the video may need to be passed through something like Avidemux, just a straight through Open then Save to fix any potential playback issues. abu aufa
or maybe you can try to fix corrupted AVI files with this tool http://divfixpp.sourceforge.net/index.php
CTskifreak
You could try to play it in something like Divx. AJ
