Moderators Andavari Posted February 2, 2009 Moderators Share Posted February 2, 2009 All of their software is adware, and only Softpedia even labels their programs as such giving a good reason why: http://www.softpedia.com/developer/IObit-3851.html Edit: Read the reason why it's marked as adware, and pay close attention to the changing of things in your web browser: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-...ndowsCare.shtml

As far as I recall, in CCleaner itself you have to be aware to uncheck the Yahoo toolbar option, otherwise you are going to have it installed, so is there much of a difference ? You know the answer to that without me even elaborating. However Piriform software at least has other builds available that don't include the Yahoo toolbar, if downloading from the official product websites.
