As long as it's not Firefox's then it's better.
I'm with you on that.

 

I hear that IEPro's Mini Download Manager is pretty good but I don't use a download manager as I'm "Always On" DSL connected and get great download speed:

Your with him on that? You say you don't use a down load manager which means you use IE7's built in piece of crap. Firefox's built in download manger is much better than IE7's.

I think the only thing download managers are good for:

 

  • When downloading a bunch of files back to back they can be queued to automatically download without having to sit their doing it manually.
  • When downloading large files where loosing the connection would also be frustrating even on broadband.
  • People still on dial-up. A download manager with resume capabilities is a necessity for dial-up users.
