What is the difference between /Auto switch and using start in settings?

I've been trying to determine what the difference is using the /Auto switch or using the Program Options/Settings and checking "Run CCleaner when the computer starts". Several years ago, I used the /Auto switch but I've gotten used to just having the option checked.

If I did use the /Auto switch, does it matter if I edit the Properties box when right clicking on the desktop icon or the Start/Programs/CCleaner menu item?

It actually uses the /AUTO switch on startup if you enable it to run on startup.

To verify:

1. Enable cleaning on startup.

2. Immediately go into Tools->Startup and you'll see CCleaner in there using /AUTO.
