shelbybriite
Okay, so i'm new to this and i just downloaded CCleaner today, because i am going to be using it to delete cookies for survey sites and stuff. Anyways, i'm kind of worried about just checking "cookies" and then clicking "run cleaner". I'm afraid it's going to like, delete some important files on our computer or something like that. I was wondering if there are any cookies that I should keep, instead of deleting them all? Or is deleting them all ok? Sorry if this is confusing. thanks! Welcome to the forum Thank you for the help! Are there any cookies that I should save on my computer? Or does it really not matter that much? lol i don't really feel like going through all the cookies and selecting which ones to delete. But i don't want to delete any important cookies either... Moderators Nergal Posted August 22, 2008 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2008 I've NEVER encountered a cookie that couldn't be deleted you'll just have to resign in to any sites that you have set to remain logged in for ever (like piriform ) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
