Keithuk
I was on this forum the other day and someone was saying http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98/t1219074823 Multiple critical files were deleted & now the production key prompt appears. So I suggested Recuva along with Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder. Then along come mouth almighty gewg and puts his two penith in. I recommend that folks steer clear of "coders" who can't put together a decent HTML page: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.recuva.com/ He is normally quite good at giving info but he can be very sarcastic. I said Recuva doesn't use HTML and he says It says that they have a sign on their front door that says "We do sloppy work". Well I don't know if this is a wind up as most of the time gewg just searches the web and posts the link. Now I've just had a quick play around with this site and if you enter in http://www.microsoft.com/en/us/default.aspx it comes back with 177 errors and 40 warnings so if they can't get it right who can. P.S. Oh by the way we have talked about Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder before on here, I've done a search but I can't find the post. The post was saying that a certain version of Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder has a virus. Now at the time I downloaded it and checked for a virus and it had, I can't remember the virus name. I downloaded the lastest version Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder 2.0.1 the other day and there is no virus there this time. Moderators DennisD Posted August 21, 2008 Moderators Share Posted August 21, 2008 That quoted link comes up all green for Recuva now Keith. Your post did the trick, and after reading the exchange, you definiely came out on top of what came across to me as just "sour grapes" posting. Talldog9
How many warnings and errors did the recuva page have before fixed? I didn't visit the link before it was fixed. XHTML! Good thing it wasn't a PDF instead, he may of said it wasn't a properly coded Word Document!
