PakWaan
CCleaner (latest build) runs fine but once it exits, Windows locks up. I can't click anything, and only a hard reset will restart the computer. I went back to 2.06.567 and that works fine. Any ideas?

PakWaan
XP or Vista? Did you anything ticked in advanced to clean? I'm running XP. I used the standard install and didn't change anything from the defaults, except to automatically exit once the cleaning was completed. Now that Firefox 3 is out, when they update it for Firefox 3 I'm hoping they will fix whatever is causing it to hang and the new release will work fine. I've gone back to 2.06 and it works fine...... Foehn
I have that same problem on my XP too. This is the second time it has happened to me. And, it actually came to the point where this problem crashed my Graphics card. But, for now, I troubleshoot the properties on my Graphics card so it won't lock up anymore. I think the problem is that CCleaner deleted a System32 file, it happened to someone else, and she noticed it. <<<I like making graphics
PakWaan
The new update, 2.09.600, fixes the lockup problem as well as adds support for Firefox 3. All is well with the world again!
