The new update, 2.09.600, fixes the lockup problem as well as adds support for Firefox 3. All is well with the world again! -

I'm running XP. I used the standard install and didn't change anything from the defaults, except to automatically exit once the cleaning was completed. Now that Firefox 3 is out, when they update it for Firefox 3 I'm hoping they will fix whatever is causing it to hang and the new release will work fine. I've gone back to 2.06 and it works fine...... -
Glad to hear it - now that Firefox 3 is officially released, hopefully it will get CCleaner support soon!

CCleaner (latest build) runs fine but once it exits, Windows locks up. I can't click anything, and only a hard reset will restart the computer. I went back to 2.06.567 and that works fine. Any ideas?
