How can you remove Windows Services from the list?

If you want to delete never used services that are showing in "Services" you could try a batchfile using the "example" below.

 

To be honest I wouldn't be deleting any services if I didn't have a decent backup such as Ghost.

 

sc delete ALG

Start>Run>type regedit. Then browse to key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

Thank you CeeCee! I did as you instructed, everything (e.g. Description, Status, etc columns) was removed except the name of the service, however, after reboot gone. Thank you again.

That is how I had been doing it, however, I ran into a couple that the command line didn't work as I said. Thanks!
