Humpty Posted August 18, 2007 Share Posted August 18, 2007 After seeing the thread in the lounge on Iolo AV flagging CClener installer as suspect I uploaded to Jottis and VirusTotal and it seems it is being flagged by a couple of others as infected. Moderators Andavari Posted August 18, 2007 Moderators Share Posted August 18, 2007 I realize it's a false positive like each and every other detection against CCleaner, however it's probably also turning away a good number of people that freak out when their AV detects it. Something needs to be done because a false positive pops up far too often! Although when Jotti isn't bogged down with a high user usage it seems "fast enough for me," the others seem really slow though.
