Are you asking if it is cleaned? I did have Ad-Aware (the previous one) and it was cleaned, and I assumed the new one was as well. If not, my mistake.

Open CCleaner, go to Tools>Uninstall, find the entry, select, and click Delete entry on the right side.
Or am I missing the obvious?

I know this is the lounge, but I don't think many people care. This is just a thinly disguised spam message for another site.

Thank you MrG! That was my main concern..
As far as "Check for updates" within the program, it works for me.
I just downloaded it late last night so I don't know of any other bugs as of yet.
No.. I had the first version of the beta.... read this post saying there was an update... loaded the Beta, clicked the "Check for updates" link... and it didn't come up with this newest version.
On another note...I'm assuming that 1.41.544 will eventually update automatically to the final version of 2.0 when it's done? JW

*cough* Get a new computer with XP *cough*
Anything before 2000 Pro is dead, and XP is stable and workable.

You know it is fact that we know more about the moon's surface then we do about our own oceans.
That makes me wonder where our priorities are sometimes .

I always find it "amusing" that people will try to blame software for their computer problems. I know some are legit, but I remember that other guy who stated that CCleaner was to blame, but I believe it was something in his registry that screwed it up. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but since the majority of people that use the program have no problems, it seems to always be something else that causes their computers to screw up.

Haha...I found a "glitch."
I read this post, opened the first version of the Beta, and clicked on the "Check for updates" link. And guess what? It didn't work!

You could always try reinstalling your soundcard drivers.... mine randomly went wonky, and I reinstalled them. No problems since then.

I'm really getting pissed off with it all... it never used to happen. I had four earlier today, and two more just now...

512mb, soon to be 4gb
Talldog9.....I hope you are upgrading to some OS that is 64 bit, because 32 bit versions of OS's don't get use out of more then approximately 2.5 GBs.
My Dell = 2Gbs of Crucial Ballistix DDR2 PC2-6400
My custom = 384 mb of PC133

My G-Mail account has been getting spam from all of these sites saying I've been getting "An E-card from Friend."
Course I don't even go to the site.

I don't really care... if you want to rate me...thanks...if not ... I don't care. I just try and speak my mind, or be helpful, or ramble on about useless stuff. It's who I am.
