I think Wipe Free Space option should be removed from the cleaner section. Yes, there is an option under Drive Wiper to wipe free space. I think there should be two separate options, one to wipe the drive and second to wipe the free space!

I think 'Wipe Free Space' option should be moved from 'Advanced' to 'Tools'.

I'm having the same issue again By the way the issue is not with Firefox, CCleaner stops even when it is wiping some other files. When I run CCleaner as Administraor then it works fine. I'm getting this issue on a Windows 8 64-bit system and the user account has Administrator rights. I have a Windows 7 64-bit system and CCleaner works fine on that system.

Atleast there should be an option available on CCleaner download page to download Winapp2.ini on choice.

I think this was an issue with Firefox version 17.0.1. After updating Firefox to version 18.0, everything is working fine now.

Majority of CCleaner users don't even know about Winapp2.ini. I think Winapp2.ini should be part of CCleaner's installation file. All the volunteers in the Winapp2.ini forum really work hard to make entries for CCleaner and most of the CCleaner users don't even get advantage of the hard work volunteers do.
