  1. hey Inu, how do you like arovak anti-spyware?

"It's Arovax my friend" And I'm liking it so far. But it still has "False Positive". I've reported a few like... 2Search and a Unknown Trojan which was found on my compouter when I reformatted and didn't have Sp2 or... any updates at the time. I'd thought scanning then would be a good time. "which it was cause it was useful" but it's good. Just watch out for the things it comes up with in results.
  2. Ha, I'll be laughing at this project in the months to come. I would not even begin to test this till I hear more about it. I'm sticking with Avast! and Arovax Shield and Anti-Spyware "Which I'm still Testing"

I've used MS's Anti-Spyware and hated it. It uses too much RAM and Scans in the wrong places.

Microsoft should just stick with OS's

  3. All I know is that I'll be ready for Vista once full released. I'll have 2GB of RAM by then hopefully. My CPU should hold up. Mainly the amount of RAM is the #1 Issue to me here. my CPU runs at 1.667GHZ with an MSI kT7266 Pro. Ver. 2 Motherboard. I'm also upgrading my piss of junk Graphics card to an ATI 9800Pro.

If I run into any problems or... run into any bug by that time. I'll see that there looked at  .

  4. pretty cool, brownstone, now only if you would have left comments beside your screenshots so we could know how to get those themes and such

What he said. I love those themes. Yet, Heres.. mine.

    My Current Theme

  5. I'm looking forward on Vista. Although, I have 512MB Of RQAM I should upgrade to 1GB or more. my CPU is a AMD Athlon Xp 2000+ 1.667GHZ. not bad. my video card is just ATI ASUS 9200SE 128MB 64-BIT. "Should really upgrade to ASUS ATI 9800SE with 256MB"

my Motherboard is highly good for the use of Vista. An MSI KT7266 Pro. Ver. 2 that can support PC3200 but handles PC2100 normaly. I should be fine once released.

  6. I use a-squared it's an anti-trojan prog but it's also able to find Worms,Spyware and Adware (but not Viruses).

You can download the Free or the Personal Edition of a-squared.

(The Personal Edition contains a Guard and an autoupdater)

Here you find a-squared and here iyou find informations about the special Guard

I tried that program and didn't like it that much. all the programs in my Sig. Is what I use
  7. I only had one problem with mine. I did a deep scan and it found only a few cookies and one Registry Item - Battler.Batch

At first I checked it and then clicked clean. After that my Task Manager was disabled. I believe that this is a bug. Should I post it on the Forum site later on?

  8. haha, well thanks anyway rridgely.

I heard that Vista is going to require a good bit to run. That being said, I intend on using Xp for abit longer till upgrade. Windows Vista is mainly just an Improvement on protection and searching. Of course where would Windows be without better Improvement on the Internet Connection Wizard. Vista will be a great OS once its release. I'll be getting my hands on it soon though.
  9. Ok you're going to have to find a more detailed list of specs for the mobo, Microstar (MSI) gives a very poor list of specs. Also that link for the ram you gave isnt a link to the ram, its a link to an advanced ram search.

I know, but atleast you can search the MOBO. It's a KT7266 Pro. ver. 2

In all I believe mine can support (3200) But I'm not so sure.

  10. Chill that link is to a one year free trial.

Etrust uses way less memory than any other AV and is a very small download.

    Now say thank you. :)

It's ok. Thx for the offer though. I believe my mom is trying out Etrust. and yes! That program does use way less memory. She users only 140MB in all on her system. She has 1GB with on board Graphics and system detects 992MB of RAM. I use 208MB. my system is fine the way it is. but thx though.
