From what I can tell CCleaner already cleans the MUICache located at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache
I'm not sure if the location you listed is related or not to what is cleaned. I've only seen executible items added to the location I listed above.

You'd be surprised at how many people ("fools") start deleting files in the Windows directory and sub-directories all by themselves, then scream virus when their computer starts acting up or displaying errors. I remember one guy who deleted all .dll's in the Windows\System32 folder that began with "ad" thinking they were downloading advertisements to his computer, oops those were OS related .dll's needed by WinXP.

ZoneAlarm Pro any version has always killed my dial-up connection with my current ISP, I don't know if it's an advanced Pro only feature that does it. The free version has never caused connection problems.
When I had connection problems a few years ago and called my ISP one of the first things they asked was "Are you using ZoneAlarm Pro."

Windows Firewall stealth. Well according the the ShieldsUp tests on http://grc.com it passed as TruStealth on my system. Of course that doesn't mean it will pass as TruStealth on other systems depending upon the network configuration, and what other programs are doing.
"Perhaps" my configuration of it helped it pass since I unchecked the two allow items on the Exceptions tab.
I just only wish I would've been using it all along to negate dealing with and living with bugs in third-party firewalls on a daily basis.

Not related to the problem you've fixed, however Tweak UI is also capable of causing another problem as detailed below.
How to repair right click Start missing Explorer option.
When you install Microsoft's Tweak UI it "may" be responsible for disabling the Start button feature when right clicking called Explore.
How to fix:
1. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel.
2. Double click Tweak UI.
3. In Tweak UI click the My Computer tab.
4. Make sure there is a check mark next to each and every drive letter displayed -- even if the drive letter doesn't exist or isn't used on your system.
5. Click Apply, and then click OK.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Once Windows is restarted right click the Start button, now the greyed out Explore option is now in bold text and is now restored.
It literally took me a year to figure out how to fix this problem on my Win98 system.

I was asking because Sygate Personal Firewall is a culprit of doing such a thing, it doesn't matter what browser someone uses if a firewall is blocking access.

I tested my memory modules separately, and found out that only one of them was bad.
Have you had any file corruption due to the faulty memory?

So you dont think it's a problem that the windows firewall dosent scan out going traffic?
So what if you download a program that connects to the internet without your knowledge and downloads a virus? With zone alarm all I have to is click deny access and problem solved, not so with the windows firewall. Also right when sp2 first came out wasnt their a problem with certain viruses and worms that could actually shut it down? I have no clue if this was fixed.
What problems did you have with zone alarm? I have been using it for about two years and it has never crashed or anything. Once I allowed firefox and thunderbird and my games access to the internet and turned off the notifications I dont even know its running. I just click allow when a program wants access and thats it.
Look at this (look under other firewalls)as well. Zone Alarm recommended on a microsoft site? Sounds like the windows firewall is a stinker to me.

Since the Windows Firewall doesn't scan outgoing traffic that is my major gripe about it so no I'm not o.k. with that missing feature. The other major gripe is not having a systray icon to indicate it's functional.
I do full system scans everyday for viruses, spyware, adware, trojans (malware). I never knew anything about Windows Firewall being remotely shutdown. If Windows Firewall is shutdown I'd think the Windows Security Center would notice that.
Problems with third-party firewalls I've had:
Sygate Personal Firewall:
* Blocks a bunch of websites such as www.apple.com/quicktime including the QuickTime Player update program. Blocks some stuff when trying to register extended warranties for products purchased at Staples.
* The only virus activity I know of that can shutdown a firewall happened twice with Sygate Personal Firewall. Get a virus stuck in the log that it blocked, and as soon as an antivirus scanner tries to deal with it it'll immediately cause Sygate Personal Firewall to shutdown. When the antivirus scanner tries to repair the log file it can't. Of course the log file has to be manually deleted to get rid of the virus since antivirus software isn't capable of removing the virus from the log.
ZoneAlarm (free):
* Not a bug an annoyance; Too many distractions always popping up a blocked attack. I say just log minor, and medium attacks and only display a popup when there is a major attack that requires the user to consider applying the lock for a few moments.
* When making some setup packages I noticed they were automatically configured as trusted applications for what reason I don't know. When removing them from the Programs List in ZoneAlarm they immediately reappear even if the setup package is renamed the original .exe file name reappears. That's enough of a bug for me not to trust ZoneAlarm (free).
Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1.5 (don't like version 5 at all):
* On my WinXP system it will periodically and completely lose my custom configuration and custom rule sets.

In another firewall dicussion on Hydrogenaudio.org Peter Pawlowski (zZzZzZz) wrote this. The most powerthing he stated was in the first sentence and second sentence of this post. I respect his opinion very much, and have found third-party firewalls to be buggy.
His statement really set off a lightbulb in my head, and that is:
Software-based third-party firewalls need to be certified by Microsoft.

It does a good job at blocking incoming traffic. Although it doesn't do anything to block outgoing traffic. After putting up with bugs in Sygate Personal Firewall for years, and recently ZoneAlarm (free) I've found that Windows Firewall is the only firewall I've used in years that hasn't given me any noticable problems. It also passes the ShieldsUp test as TruStealth at GRC.com (Please no grcsucks.com links).

Does it happen when you are online, or offline?
Are you running a firewall?
If it happens when you're online, and you don't have a third-party personal firewall installed at the very least make sure you enable the Windows Firewall. The reason I say this is because years ago my system would occassionally freeze, shutdown, and reboot due to not running a firewall. I believe that behavior is an outside attack called BootPC which comes in on TCP ports 67, and 68, albeit I don't know if that's what's causing your problem.

I personally have never liked using Java based app's because they always seemed rather sluggish, of course that was based upon my usage of them on my Win98 system. I also don't like .NET app's especially after using ATI's display drivers that have the ATI control panel which is .NET based. Since I know how it reacts with my system I now only use the standard Windows GUI styled ATI control panel driver.
The sluggish performance seems as if it'll bring my WinXP Pro system to a halt, even though my system has 1 GB Ram & a 3.2 Ghz P4 w/HT, hence the reason I avoid them.

I don't think Spybot SD is getting behind its competition. Look at the tools it comes with, which in my opinion are pretty robust.

Perhaps it's because the cookies were deleted, try this:
1. Open CCleaner
2. Disable/Uncheck Cookies under the CCleaner tab

Since allot of us post images in many forums I've began to notice that allot of bandwidth can be saved if some images were saved as .png image files instead of .jpg and then optimized.
