i used nero to burn a mp3 cd and i wanted to tracks to go in a certain order. well, with around 100 songs on an mp3, its kinda hard to rename all the tracks. i would have to do that because nero puts them in alphebetical order. whats a freeware program that i can use to do this in the order i choose, besides WMP?

Yeah, well the point of this topic was to see if I could get past renaming every single song. 2000 songs is a lot of songs to rename.

well, they're store bought cds, but nothing ive tried so far gets the titles/artists. i guess its time to finally reinstall WMP11 and hope its better than any of the other versions...

The thing is I don't care to label the songs. It's not important. It's actually for my grandmas mp3 player and she just wants a random shuffle so that shouldn't be too hard.

Tried foobar, it labeled songs as 01 CD Track 01.wav then when i went to the next cd, it wanted to overwrite them. i guess my last hope is to try MM and if that doesnt work, ill have to resort to WMP.

Problem is I want to do about 2000 songs, I'll try musicmatch and report back. thanks! Problem is I hate WMP! I have it uninstalled and don't think I'll install it again.

i need a program that will convert cd to mp3. i want to be able to select which songs to extract to the pc. i need to do several cds. i tried a few but they make the file track 1.mp3 then when i go to the next cd and extract the first track, it overwrites it. ive already tried the most popular eusing software which did what i described above. please let me know asap! thanks all! -aaron

Thanks so much guys! I looked on the dvd and found a .vob file and played it. It was what I was looking for! I just dragged it in. I'll keep note of that program andavari, that could come in handy! -aaron

Yes, I found a program called "webcam max". I got one of the older versions and I can set a video to be the "camera", or my desktop. It's pretty cool! Thanks for all the help -aaron

well im in a chat room, users can view other ppls cams and mics. but it only works if you have a cam. is there anything that imitates a cam that i could use?

I used to like ctrl alt del but i found it easier to hit ctrl shift esc. That can be done with one hand too

Thanks, I'm getting help with PhotoShop. That was another problem I had, I couldn't make the logo the shape I wanted. I'll check out that program though and I'll let you know what I think of it. Thanks -aaron

I tried it but there are 11 selections on the main menu. I only want to copy the first and maybe the second to to an avi file. Possible? btw, dont start thinking i use mcaffee! i ONLY use mcaffee site advisor. -aaron

dvdshrink wouldn't work. shrinkto5 mcaffee said installed spyware. I tried it anyways and it created video_ts and audio_ts folders. can i convert those to just one .avi file, even if the dvd has a menu on it?

Is it possible to convert dvd to raw video? My friend gave me a dvd video with a menu. I want to get the raw footage from only 2 of the videos on the dvd. Is that possible? Would the easiest way be to use a screen recorder? I need to get this done asap. Thanks all -aaron

You can also use Alcohol 120%. That's very easy to work with.
