- Run Piriform's SPECCY program. Choose "File" >> "Publish Snapshot" and post the link that pops up in your next reply. Perhaps your HD is in the first stage of failing.

- Because the values of SMART attributes (plural) of your HD have reached such a dangerous level that the data stored on your HD are running the risk of getting lost. Your HD is (in the 1st stages of) failing.

- New version of the "Svchost Look Up" tool (v1.60) released. It now shows the memory usage of each "Svchost.exe" process. (Same PID means same memory usage).

Suggestion: Add a (separate) section that lists all the installed programs.
I know there are programs that are able to pull up what programs have been installed. One of these programs is regularly used to diagnose computer problems by the "Bleeping Computer" website.

- After "closing" DF the program can remain running (See Task Manager) with high CPU. I made 2 screenshots of what's going on. See attachments (I have a dutch version of Win 7).

- Yep. Found another bug in CC v5.21. When I have selected the option called "Wipe Free Space" (in the "Advanced" pane) and nothing else then CC won't run that option. Only when I select a second option/tick a second box then CC will execute that "Wipe Free Space" option.
(Or was this done intentionally ???).
- I continue to think that the "Wipe Free Space" box should be removed from the "Advanced" pane.
- I also think that the "Drive Wiper" Screen should be expanded. Move the option "Wipe MFT free space" to the "Drive wiper" screen as well.

- No, I know that it's a matter of determining where the left hand side of the screen is (including or excluding the Task Bar.).
- I also know that some programs (part of the Windows OS) also don't perform such a check. E.g. Open CMD.exe and start fiddling with the window.

- One more bug: Some message boxes don't take into account that I have the Task Bar on the left hand side of my screen. Then the left part of those messages boxes are hidden under the Task Bar.

- Do you have any compressed files on your HD ? (It's a common problerm with that).

- DF's algorithms to move files towards the end of the drive have something in common. (or is there only one algorithm ??). These algorithms don't move all selected files. There's something that interferes with these/this algorithm(s). I could imagine that DF fails to "protect" the part of the memory where all the file info is stored.

- Ooooops. It seems that SPECCY is already able to detect .NET software versions v4.6. See the link below. But SPECCY doesn't make a distinction between versions v4.5, v4.5.1 and v4.5.2. In all three cases SPECCY simply reports "v4.5". SPECCY only reports the main version(s).
- I still would like to see that SPECCY provides more details on that .NET software.

- My personal opinion is that MS should release a new Service Pack for both Win 7 & Win 8 BEFORE it starts releasing those "Monthly Roll Up" updates. That would provide a clean solid foundation for those new monthly rollups. Especially because e.g. Win 7 is still supported until 2020 (???).

- Microsoft released a new update to "improve the stability of the Servicing Stack". Is this the fix for the nagging Windows Update problem many Windows users have experienced since the second quarter of 2016 ?

- If this is the (final ??) fix for this nagging Windows Update problem then it's weird that this update/fix is considered to be "Optional". I think it should be considered "Important". Or is this a trail balloon to see whether or not this would solve this "Windows Update" problem ??
