I start off the year with a classic d-top. Custom shell using mostly iToolbar2 icons with Vista toolbar icons. My own 3Dcc scheme, classic WA skin (a little modded) and Avedesk with ReflectionArt desklet. Oh, and using a nice little app called Folder Pilot to get that "Vista feeling". Large View

yeah, i make them for myself. i use icons that are not mine, so therefore i cant distribute it. @JohnDemolition: i use an app called reshacker and open the system files i wanna change (like shell32.dll, mydocs.dll etc.) and then replace them. but i dont recommend doing it if you have no clue what you are doing. if you do anything wrong, you can destroy the whole OS. trust me, i have tried and failed many times LOL..but i think it's fun..and besides, you actually learn alot by doing this kind of stuff:) of course you can get programs that do this for you like icon packager, windowblinds etc, but i dislike having many apps using resources in the background just to make it look cool.

Updated the shell32 with some iToolbar icons(folders) and drives icons from Layered. Think I'm happy now! Large view

well, then give wb 5 a go. not slow anymore, it uses the same process as windows does (aka uxtheme)..and be sure to take a minute in the settings and uncheck the "change icons" checkbox. it pays off looking at the options once and again lol. btw, what did you mean with "lol, the look gives it away" ?

Playing with WB5, and I really like it so far. Not a resource hog anymore thats for sure! Using Kols vista skin and an old wallie..cant remember where I got it. Biggie

they are universal, meaning it doesent matter what language your comp is. i like the vista shellpack!

LOL, backstreet boys... well, i guess i should shut the f*ck up, cuz I kinda like robbie williams LOL. The bands I have seen is GN'R(2 times) Soundgarden, Faith no more, Dio, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Bon Jovi, Kiss(make-up'96), sepultura, turbonegro, skid row(perhaps the best band next to GN'R!) and poison. yeah, i have long hair Biggie and i am a "rock'n roller"...who would have thought that one of the greatest enertainers of the decade would come from a boyband called Take That??!!

LOL, yeah I guess. In my older days I find myself liking all kind of music...dunno why that is BTW, Slash did perform yesterday with Black Sabbath on a Hall of Fame show in England, he played his Gibson on "Hey Joe" !! ...goes off and search the internet for clips....

how do i add these in CCleaner??

moved to a new house with my family, did a reformat, got internet connection today, found VXP visual style and fell in love with it. Biggie

i think it is cuz in CCleaner it is still version 8, but if you edit the winapp.ini and change the macromedia version from 8 to 10 it will show up.
