Afaik, CCleaner does let you choose to install (or not) the Yahoo toolbar. Maybe it was because you were doing an update and it knew not to install it? Or did it install the toolbar?
My advice:just use the slim or portable CCleaner. No yahoo toolbar included.

You can find the Legend in the Help menu.
-
What if you use ".../cache4/*"
-
Thanks; Ill update my copy now.

If you want low resource usage go for Avira. I find it much lighter.
-
Maybe Dray meant "Winapp2.ini" which you can get here.

Yes CCleaner works fine on Vista.

That is FF Portable so there is no start menu item to start it in safe mode. It's a clean install and a fresh profile. I started from scratch with it.
In that case, I would redownload Firefox portable, not tweak anything or add anything, and see if its still the same.
Alternatively, you could do an actual install of Firefox 3 and see if it still happens.

@Anthony A - does that also happen on a new profile or in Firefox's safe mode?
-
Yes but I tried it on both the small icon and big icon setting and neither way has the big back button that I keep seeing in screen shots. I am on XP so is the big back button an Vista thing?
The big back button should be on XP too. Could you post a screenshot of your Firefox with the large icons?

Firefox 3 is working well for me. The improved memory usage is greatly welcomed.

Roboform works very well.
If you only want for Firefox, then Secure Login is nice.

The empty space was one of the first things I noticed with RC1. I hope they fix it somehow.

Is cleaning OpenOffice supposed to delete its settings too?
-
Thanks that did the trick
-
Better than Norton? Hahaha. Norton has a superior detection rate to CA.
-
Isnt CCleaner supposed to clean OpenOffice? Im using OOo 2.4 and CCleaner doesnt detect it.
-
There is no switch for running the registry cleaner, unfortunately.

I too prefer the old UI. Also I noticed the drive tab can have a lot of empty space:
It needs to be changed to use up the space. Maybe put "Properties" underneath "Status" and then move the file list to the right of those two?
-
There were a lot of ZZZ files as you said so I guess its doing its job.
-
I just deleted 42MB in 17 secs. Like I said, very fast.
-
Even with 7 passes, it seems CCleaner does its job fairly fast. Is it really doing a secure delete? It seems too fast
Serious firewall problem

Try uninstalling it and then install the latest stable version (no betas).
