I use the free Easy CD-DA Extractor. Does mp3,wav,ogg and others. Drag, drop press button!
Also rips CD's as well.

Thought I'd give your recommendation a go Tarun. Have downloaded and run it. Not too bad at all. If you were with winmx like me, this is not a bad second choice.
Once I got my head round the settings (not my strong point!) it is easy to use and works in a very similar way to winmx.

For any of you with a 3GP phone out there, here is a bit of software from Nokia that allows you to convert any little avi or mpeg 4 files to 3GP so you can watch them on your phone. It works with most makes, mine is a sharp.
Just register and get a serial number ( does this instantly ) before you download.

Anyone know of any reason why I shouldn't update to version 8?
I keep getting a messge to do so, I have version 7 at the moment.

rridgley, can he scan his usb drive with CCleaner? Or is it as I think that once your memeory stick is wiped clean there is no point in scanning the drive, there is nothing there.

Did you by any chance have something on a memory stick or the like that you downloaded to your computer and now want to see if the drive is " clean " ? Is this what you mean?

You are probably right about the shared resorce. I can still use Decrypter and Shrink though. I had to get rid of nero as that was the only way my autorun would work again. So full of bugs nero.

As someone who was once in your position I would strongly advise you to follow the steps that the likes of Tarun, Englishmen and other long term forum members have given you.
Yes doing a Hijack This log for the first time can be scary, but just follow the instuctions given in the link, and not only will you get excellent advice, you will also gain experience!! Be brave

Does anyone know why when I uninstalled Nero 6 ( with the nero uninstall tool) it also uninstalled my drivers for dvd43?

I am a member of both this and Lunarsoft's forum. I think between the two of them there is an enormous amount of help and knowledge available.

You did hit fix first, not scan only? If you hit fix, then it'll scan and get rid of problems... If you scan only it does what it says...

What did you have to do? I was given no options, the fix button is greyed out. Cannot get on the site which it takes me to when I click on the infection.

Had just checked my system with version 2.16, downloaded new version, says it has found CWS. Qttasks but no options to remove it.
Any advice please?

CCleaner is never switched off!!
If you go to the main page of CCleaner forums you will see a section called spyware hell-hijack this log analysis, it is there you put your hijack this log.
