I've a real nice Irish woman living next door to me.
She wanted to cook a nice meal for St. Patricks Day so she bought a new non stick pan ... and couldn't get the label off.
*facepalm* lol

Ok so it's a little late but, Happy Green Beer Day! I don't drink it, but I know plenty who do. Hope you all had a good one!!!

Ok cool I'll let her know. Thanks!

Ok I'll pass that info along. If she were to do "add new account" and use the original email address with the new password and then delete the original do you think that would work? Or would she lose all of her apps that way?

Wasn't sure where to put this since it's not exactly computer related but whatever. lol I'm hoping someone can help.
A friend of mine has a Galaxy S2 tablet that was given to her by her niece when she got a new one. Because of progress in games on it, she left her niece's Google account info on it. Well, a few days ago she was prompted to update one of the games and when she tried, Google Play told her that it could not sync and she'd have to enter her password. She called her niece for the password and her niece basically said she couldn't remember it and ended up having to a whole new account for herself on her new tablet the other day. We're guessing she either didn't have a way to restore her password or still couldn't restore it after trying. But again, that's just a guess. Anyway, my friend went online to Gmail and reset the password to the account that way and then logged into Gmail as a test to make sure it worked. Then she went back to her tablet and put in the new password but it still wouldn't log her in. It wants the original password to the account. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this without having to do a factory reset? If there isn't, is there a way she can backup her current apps/games so she doesn't have to start from scratch?

I think I prefer that way. lol

Oh my. As much as I love the snow, I do not miss those kinds of temperatures at all. If we are doing a scoring system, I give you a 5/5 for inspiration to move somewhere warmer. lol
maybe accompanying these desktops we should start a scoring system with Sochi still fresh in our minds and the para's about to start.
@Corona,
5/5 for usefulness. 1/5 for inspiration
@Tas,
4/5.... Hmmm... chocolate
@Lulu,
5/5 now where did I leave my beach towel?
Ha thanks! Now where's yours?

Lol :lol:
Considering the fact that this occured in Russia, there's a fairly good chance that a bottle of vodka somehow played a part in the planning and execution of this stunt.
Ummm probably. haha

Haha!!!! My people can be awesome sometimes. I wish I could translate it but unfortunately I never learned how to speak it.

Ok cool thanks you guys!!! Sounds easy enough. I'll have to get a jump drive though since the biggest one I have is only 4gigs.

Well, since there seems to be an issue between 8.1 and FF, I guess I'll hold off for a bit. Or I'll just switch to Chrome or another compatible browser like I keep saying I will. But in the meantime, how do I create an image of 8.0?
ps- thanks to all those who offered input!

So my laptop keeps bugging me to get the 8.1 update and I'm on the fence about it. Anyone here do it? Do you like it? Do you hate it?

Wee. lol
Have AT&T U-Verse. Not sure exactly how much we pay a month since it's bundled with our cable, but I think it's somewhere around 40 bucks a month.
edited - decided to run it again to see how much difference a few minutes makes.

"Danny isn't here, Mrs. Torrance."
Ha!!!

Oddly enough, I am using none. LOL I played around with it for a while and then got rid of everything. Always felt like someone was watching me.

Browser: Firefox
Add-ons: Avast Online Security
Why: Because I can't think of anything else I need and I always hear people talking about how add-ons screw up Firefox, so I'd rather not add something that's just going to give me more headache. lol
But as a side note I'm considering switching to Chrome...

LOL Wow this is old.

Ok Derek that's an awesome wallpaper.

Yeah I'll have to do that...just to err on the side of caution.

Crap. I use Yahoo for my job applications. I'm afraid to try to log in now.

Glad you are OK, as well as the other residents, Tas. And two thumbs up to the fire rescue!!

Just throwing in my 2 cents...no issues here using Chrome.
