If you're having severe problems I'd suggest you read this thread from the "Spyware Hell" section.

Some softwares install and some don't, I haven't tried so far.
http://support.riverdeep.net/techtips_detail.asp?id=147
But the question is, why would you want to do that?
-
I personally think that new versions of CCleaner are released faster than other software, but I really want less version updates but with more innovations and improvements on every update. Someone had suggested that, actually. There isn't much significance between CCleaner versions maybe 4 or even 5 updates apart if you are not using the programs that gets supported by CCleaner on the newer version.
But I say the UI needs a tweak.
Couldn't agree more.

I think you are wrong Hazelnut.
I tried to get past the Google install and was unable to do it.
Maybe a site bug.

We all wanted a change when v2 was released and it never happened, so there are slim chances of that happening now... but I won't sour this discussion by being pessimistic.

Hello.
You can always download the Slim version which does not have any additional software.
Plus, it does not have the whole Google Chrome browser within, it downloads it IF YOU SELECT THE OPTION TO.
If you still feel this is disappointing, you are free to choose an alternative. Best of luck trying to replace CCleaner.

Agreed.
Agreed.

Options > Advanced > Save all settings to INI file.
You can copy and paste that INI file wherever you go.

Tbh, use secure delete only when you're getting rid of your HDD or its a vastly shared computer.
If you still want to secure delete, use 1 Pass. That should work just right.

Thumbs down to skins.
Thumbs up to a version 3 update to GUI and Icons. (Aero)

MrRon, for some reason all my cookies have the Opera icon even though I do not use Opera.
Plus, all cookies do not show up. I can confirm this.
-
Strange, never saw that before.
Okay thanks.

Can there be a tool that will delete dead shortcuts on the start menu and/or desktop. There was one such feature in Your Uninstaller! and out of the 421 folders/shortcuts on my Menu, 53 were dead. It fixed it, phew.
So, is this feasible?
Comments.

Why would you WFS everyday? You're wasting time and your HDD life.

Oh, Happy belated Birthday LuLu! I hope you have a great year ahead of you.
-
I would like it. I had asked for this a long long time back and got a coherent reply saying that we hardly use CCleaner for more than 3 times a day - 15 seconds each (maximum) and it wouldn't make too much sense.
-
You can, there will be a button "Advanced" at the bottom left side while installing. That's how you change the directory.
-
This made my day.
-
Yeah +1 to both.

Why is WFS still there?

Aero Icon FTW

Glad it worked out for you.
