TimeStamp on Registry save files - include 'seconds' please.

that would be cool.. I have always had to cheat that adding the next minute before it arrives... cause I have to pass it like three times each time I clean the registry... -
Did you add your program files folder to the include list??? is the only way I can see that happens...
-
When I clean (see my home desktop config down in my signature running Windows Vista Ultimate Service Pack 1 (6.0.6001)) with the new version of CCleaner (without analize)... and it says has finished.... I click again to clean and I noticed CC has found another Recent files that it didn't get erase in the first time... I did this by as many times as I could and CC still finding recent files... The most weird thing is that I went to "C:\Users\warmth\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent" and was empty (showing hidden files) and CC still get files there each time I try to clean with it... UPDATE: after cleanning for 13 times... It appeared to be working fine now... cause for the first time appeared "0 files found"... here is the content of my CCleaner.ini file [Options]Language=1034UpdateKey=06/22/2008 01:20:50 AM(App)Old Prefetch data=True(App)Menu Order Cache=True(App)Window Size/Location Cache=True(App)User Assist History=True(App)IIS Log Files=True(App)Hotfix Uninstallers=False(App)Custom Folders=True(App)Start Menu Shortcuts=True(App)Desktop Shortcuts=True(App)Autocomplete Form History=True(App)Installer=FalseSecureDeleteType=1SecureDeleteMethod=2DelayTemp=0MinimizeSystemTray=1FFDetailed=1IEDetailed=1WINDOW_MAX=1WINDOW_LEFT=0WINDOW_TOP=0WINDOW_WIDTH=1680WINDOW_HEIGHT=1036MSG_CONFIRMCLEAN=FalseBackupDir=C:\Users\warmth\Documents\CCleaner backupsCookiesToSave=correo.fii.org|designevolved.net/board|docs.google.com|facebook.com|forum.acmilan-online.com|forum.mess.be|forum.piriform.com|forums.msgd2.com|forums.msgdiscovery.com|google.co.ve|hi5.com|mail.google.com/mail|msghelp.net|myspace.com|pip.verisignlabs.com|sendspace.com|sonico.com|twitter.com|www.acmilan.com|www.google.com/accounts|www.google.com/calendar|www.malianteo.com|www.stuffplug.com(App)Empty Recycle Bin=True(App)Recent Documents=True(App)Run (in Start Menu)=True(App)Search Assistant Autocomplete=True(App)Other Explorer MRUs=True(App)Temporary Files=True(App)Clipboard=True(App)Memory Dumps=True(App)Chkdsk File Fragments=True(App)Windows Log Files=True(App)Mozilla - Saved Form Information=True(App)*Messenger Plus! Great... I saw a amazing improvement in speed this time... and I love the new support to IE8 beta 1...
-
Confirmed!!!
-
this is exactly what I don't support neither in Recuve nor CCleaner... those should be unchecked by default to avoid people to install it by error...
-
yes but sometimes I wanna install all the three programs as fast as I can... cause I am doing it in a network with 20 PCs... is a shame... normally this kind of options are unchecked by default...
-
I am fine with the bar... I am not against it... what I don't support is the option checked by default...
-
Great update... but I don't support the checked option to install yahoo bar by default (the same for CCleaner)...
-
I think this is more a feature for Defraggler than for CCleaner...
-
it happens sometimes to me too...
-
Filehippo download is messing again... but I got it from CCleaner.com altarnative mirror... and now all work great... I will test you and let you guys know anything I found !!!

[2 Suggestions] Taskbar icon option improvement
warmth replied to warmth's topic in CCleaner Suggestions
hey mate... first of all thanks for your reply... I really understand what you mean... but I have been beta tester of so many softwares all over the internet for example of Messenger Plus! Live and I have always tried to do my best, no matter if there is some kind of monetary or reputation retribution. This fact gave me a lot of experience in suggestion and bug reports... and this experience tell me that I have always got a least one reply to my threads and is very sad that here is not happening that at all... I don't care if is a good or a bad reply... cause I accept everybody's opinion... but I want to feel that I am doing something no wasting my time... hope you can understand me... and don't worry no matter what happens I will be here posting each time I feel that is needed to... regards... -
[2 Suggestions] Taskbar icon option improvement
warmth replied to warmth's topic in CCleaner Suggestions
thanks my friend... -
My first suggestion was regarding a "bug" I reported that resulted as a know limitation for now... Is the replacement of the tooltip text string for real time status of CCleaner... is ok that if you hover the taskbar icon it says CCleaner when is doing nothing... but when is cleaning or whatever is very bad that the string doesn't show you anything about the status of its work... like progress in % and if it is cleaning or searching in your registry, etc... My second suggestion is due to the amateur users of CCleaner that activate the option of minimize to taskbar withouth knowing what that means... have you ever seen that dialog box warnings that appear sometimes when for example you have a windows update available??? well that what I mean... first time the user activate this option and minimize CC a dialog box will appear warning you that CC isn't closed... is just minimized there... I always do suggestion and none anwer me like this two: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=11124 http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=14883 I hope this one takes your attention...
-
there is already a option to save settings in a .ini file my friend... and this will avoid that problem if you install the next version of CCleaner without uninstall the previous one... search for it...

Don't worry my friend... nobody here born with knowledge all day we learn something new from somebody else... be free of ask whatever you want and wasn't asked before in the forums jajaja
