  1. Thank you MrG ... I hope to see someday the minimize to tray option in Defraggler too...
  2. I understand you guys... but I can be agree that a Cleaning software leaves traces of old files in its own folder... doesn't make sense to me... samething for deleting files that you don't want to... the essence of CCleaner is a software to manage files... and I can't understand that such a great program can't have features to avoid manually copying of preferences files... I know that my suggestions seems like to much work for a things that nobody is gonna use... but trust me... they are going to be use more than you think... are useful stuff present in so many other softwares and I think that with this kind of details... CCleaner will become a more robust software...
  3. I can't be agree with you... there several different reasons to uninstall a software than just the reason you gave... for example my case... and it's very annoying have to backup manually a file to avoid the uninstaller cleans it... if Firefox perhaps use this feature why CCleaner can't have it??? will be opt to the user to uncheck or not the option to erase the ccleaner.ini file and winapp2.ini file (if it's present) or not... is very inconsistent that uninstaller deletes ccleaner.ini file to clean all CCleaner traces and don't do a check to see if other file are present... winapp2.ini file... that is a very common file nowadays... Obviosly
  4. I think that the uninstaller of CCleaner must have an option to select if you wanna erase winapp2.ini and ccleaner.ini as many programs like Firefox do... cause if you unselect this option and reinstall CCleaner all your preferences will be there untouched...
  5. I had a old laptop that I wanted to update... and I updating/upgrating each software at the time... so when I reached the time for update CCleaner... I've found something interesting... I had installed CCleaner version 2.13.0.720 and I installed 2.16.830 over it... and many many of the old CCleaner files that in the newer version don't exist anymore weren't erased but kept in CCleaner folder... I have to uninstall 2.16.830 and the unistaller did the job of erasing almost all files from the folder (the only one kept was winapp2.ini and I will make a suggestion after posting this about that) and then install the new version... CCleaner installer should uninstall the current version before installing the new one to avoid keeping these old files forever... Same thing for Recuva and Defraggler!!! Windows XP SP3 Update: here is the suggestion I made http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=20229
  6. I love this suggestion... a place to manage context menu entries as a new tool inside CCleaner...
  7. I hope that the support when FF is open fix the bugs I reported longggggggggg time ago.. Thanks MrG!!! UPDATE: Yeah FF support is now GREAT!!! but Recent files in Vista SP1 aren't still cleaned at all... the bug is still there... you analize and got lots of recent files but just clean a few each time you clean...

    Recuva v1.23

    Great MrG... thanks a lot
  9. why are you gonna beta test a sofware that is NOT A BETA in a OS that is known as unsupported!!! that is just take the risk and there you have some of the consequences... maybe this is more like a learning for the piriform dev team that they should do a checking before installing the software to know if the OS is compatible or not to avoid things like this... I already know that this kind of things aren't so frecuent but happens
  10. why did you run CCleaner in an incompatible OS???
  11. why do you wanna know that??? what are you expecting of it???
  12. Actually it is at the bottom that's why I suggested to put a new tab at the top... cause nobody is gonna see this...
  13. that's a HUGE inmprovement in piriform labs... congrats for this... now all the softwares must be updated to have a link to join this easily... and for the future translate this info in all the languages that pirform's softwares have... Note: actually a new tab in the new site for Docs will be very usefull...
  14. yeah that completes the idea Andavari
  15. do you wanna cancel changes in settings or where???
  16. I am not to much in the add all buttom... but the remove all will be great indeed!!!
  17. The cookie list over the options is taking SO MUCH TIME to get loaded... I haven't seen this bug in any of the previous releases before... so you guys maybe made a change in this built that makes this bug to appear... Vista Ultimate SP1 Note: if you need any info about my pc just look at my signature...
  18. I am running Vista Ultimate SP1 and if I analyze my pc shows lots of recent files... but when I click to clean then it just clean one or two and the rest appear again when analyzing after... this seems very much to the bug was appering with prefetch in the previous releases of CC...
  19. but in the ABOUT tab is not appering the information about it... so for many people it doesn't exist... Windows Vista SP1
