Is there any way of contacting a real human?

Recommended Posts

I recently tried to stop my auto renewal and kept being told “I can do that for you but…”

At one point I was told “It is better to keep the automatic renewal.” No mention of who it’s better for, not me certainly.

I eventually got fed up and gave a one star review on trustpilot and soon after I was told that they had finally, after several exchanges of emails and going nowhere, stopped the automatic renewal. However, their response on trustpilot was to enter a link to give more details. In full their response was as below. I am going to give it a few days and will then give another one star review based on the fact they asked me for feedback and then refused to allow me to do so.

Are there instructions on how to give feedback via this link.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We apologize for any difficulties you may be experiencing. We would like to investigate this matter further. Kindly send us a message to our team through chat or phone by visiting https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us. We are here to assist you. Thank you.

Is there any way of dealing with a real human as I’m getting fed up? I like the product and want to continue using it but the bots don’t seem to be programmed to offer any help at all and I really don’t believe they could help if I had an issue as they’ve not even been much good at basic communication so far.

That seems to be talking about the 24/7 chat support in CCleaner Premium. (AFAIK there is no phone option though, at least not for home users).

For those with CCleamer Pro or Pro+ it's email support.

You can contact CCleaner support by emailing: support@ccleaner.com
Or by using the form here: https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general

If you use the form you will get a support ticket number, make a note of it while it's onscreen, followed by an automated email reply, then later followed by an email from a real person.
Note that although they usually respond the same day (within an few hours), at times they do get busy. So at busy times it can take a few days for a real person to get to your ticket in the queue, at really busy times a week or more has been known.
